Social Strategy Pitch
Tiny’s Hi-Dive
Los Angeles
2026
Tiny's is a Chicago themed dive bar in LA and one of the most popular spots with the city's young adult crowd, but the social presence hasn't caught up to the foot traffic. The bar is still new, so the feed reflects that. I audited their existing content, mapped the gaps, and built a full feed redesign from the perspective of their social media manager. The goal was to keep the Chicago identity and the dive bar grit intact while bringing a younger, sharper approach to how it shows up online.
The Ask
When I met with the owner of Tiny's, he told me he needed help with social. The bar had gotten popular fast with a younger crowd and he wanted the feed to catch up to who was actually walking through the door.
The Approach
I ran a SWOT first, and the problem wasn't a shortage of material. Tiny's is a content goldmine. Arcade games, a photo booth, shuffleboard, Chicago food, drag bingo, sports nights. Some of it was making it online, just not in a way that spoke to the crowd actually showing up. No TikTok at all, and an Instagram of flyers and blurry photos with nothing tying them together. So I built a direction around film photography and the things people already walk in for, then mocked up the entire feed so the owner could see it instead of picture it.
The Deliverable
A pitch deck: the audit, the creative direction, a before and after of the feed, and reference work from bars doing it right. No studio, no crew, no ad spend. Film photos, the room, and a point of view.
