ROLE Creator Research & Sourcing
MARKET Los Angeles
DATE February 2026
As part of my interview with Social Native, an AI creator marketing platform, I built an AI-powered workflow to source TikTok creators for Cadence OTC, a women’s reproductive health brand. The challenge was finding creators who fit five tight criteria in a category most people don’t post about openly.

The Brief
Five Criteria, One Sensitive Category
Every creator had to be female, 18 to 24 years old, between 2K and 40K followers, enrolled in college, and already posting about emergency contraception or reproductive health.
Any one of these is easy to filter for. All five together, in a topic that’s rarely searchable, is where even AI tools need a sharp strategy behind them.
My Process
From Hashtags to a Shortlist
Brainstormed niche hashtags with ChatGPT to find where these conversations actually happen on TikTok.
Scraped creator profiles and posts with Apify to build the initial pool.
Narrowed the pool with Modash’s AI search, filters and audience analytics to match follower range and demographics.
Deep-dived into each creator’s content and the hashtags they post under most, then scored how likely they’d be to say yes to promoting an OTC morning-after pill.
Delivered a spreadsheet of 20+ creators with my reasoning for each pick, plus a deck walking through my workflow.
What I Learned
Perfect Fits Are Rare
Very few creators hit all five criteria at once, and that was the real finding. AI got me a strong pool fast, but the final call still came down to judgment: a creator who already talks openly about reproductive health is a stronger yes than one who fits the demographics but has never touched the subject.
